From summer 2003 we wll be conducting regular gradings in Muay Thai. Please contact us to enquire about grading in the other Martial arts
There will be two grading's per annum. Please see the notice board in the gym for further details. Grading booklets for the adult and junior grades can be purchased from the shop at the cost of £1 each. There are 5 grades per level with minimum time periods between the grades. The grading's will be assessed on expertise, knowledge, time training, contribution, teaching ability and many other aspects not just what manoeuvres you are capable of. We do allow grade transfers and grade jumps depending on the situation. We DO NOT pass people that are not capable of fulfilling what is asked. The grading's are hard and are set out to be an obstacle worth achieving! They are recognised by other gyms and assessed by outside instructors as well. It is within our interest to make sure that all participants are capable of passing each grade before they take it to avoid unnecessary disappointment.
